As a designer, my goal is to combine concept and content into one functional design. The work of the Bauhaus and Color Field Painting movements both strongly influence my personal artistic tastes. In addition I tend to incorporate hand drawn or illustrative elements into my designs to give them personality.

In studio, or on location. My focus is on providing the expertise and equipment necessary for musicians, who intend to create real music by playing as a unit, to get great sounds quickly, and thereby focus on the actual art of playing music together. Mark Freeman with David Childers.

The Royal American is a restaurant, bar and live music venue in downtown Charleston. The Tarlatans and Sideshow Americans.

Sinners and Saints and Elonzo Wesley. The Charlotte, NC based band features Perry Fowler on guitar, vocals, kick snare, and harmonica and Mark Baran on stand-up bass, vocals, kick drum, tenor banjo. Since the bands formation in 2011 Sinners and Saints has brought their live show to many a main stage or festival with a combination of small regional tours in the Southeast and regular appearances across their native Charlotte.
